Encourage him to constantly use words to ask for different things, not just point them with his finger. It stimulates the child to express their feelings through words, from that age. Even if only at preschool age you will be able to remember and associate states with terms and words, it is important to start getting acquainted with them from now on.

It starts with the simplest of emotions and experiences.
