Many (future) moms wonder if it is dangerous for the girl to get through the airport security devices. Airport security devices have the role of detecting metal objects and use low-frequency electro-magnetic fields.
These devices are considered safe for everyone, including pregnant women because the metal detector uses low frequencies that are generated by almost anything that produces or uses electricity (for example, home appliances).
Even the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has said that passing through airport security devices is not a risk factor for pregnant women or their fetus. If, however, you feel uncomfortable when you go through the security apparatus, you can always ask for a physical check through "pimp".
Many people confuse these security devices with X-ray devices and this is where their fears come from. X-ray machines used in airports (X-rays are used, for example, in dental x-rays) are used only for luggage scanning.
However, doctors advise you to be careful with flights during pregnancy.
